2011 RB with verbal offers

One of the top prospects in the Class of 2011 in the Peach State is running back Isiah Crowell. Crowell, 5-11 and 190 pounds, is from Columbus (Ga.) Carver High School. He is now starting at running back for one of the state's top programs.
"It's my first year starting and it's been interesting to say the least," Crowell said. "I can't explain it but I am learning each day and with each game. I am trying to lead and I know there are so many things I need to work on and improve."

Crowell is a tough runner with good speed and quickness. He shows some power and has a very good burst.
"I need to keep my feet better and run hard. But those are things I know will come as I get bigger."
According to the coaches at Carver, Crowell has already received verbal scholarship offers from Florida, Clemson, Miami, Duke and LSU.
"I like Florida a lot but I really don't have a leader. It's so early for me. I think point I am just trying to take everything very seriously and with a purpose. I just hope I am one day in that situation (to be recruited).
"Right now I like Florida, Georgia, Clemson and Alabama."
