"As the year progressed, I started to take charge of the offense and understand the intensity I need to bring to the field."
Interest has already come from numerous schools including Louisville, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland and Richmond.
"I know I'll be visiting schools this summer," he said. "I really want a school that has a West Coast offense, one that has the run and gun. I'm big on the spread."
A few schools already stand out to Boone.
"Oh yeah, my top school would probably be South Carolina," he said. "I love their offense and the style of play they have. The area and campus are amazing.
"Virginia Tech is high up there. Our really good family friends went to Tech and it's in-state."
