2011 OT pulls huge offer
Top 2011 offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio out of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha pulled a major offer in the past week. The 6-foot-7, 322-pounder got his latest scholarship from out west.
"USC offered me," he said. "I was very surprised. I didn't get to talk to them since they can't really contact me, but my brother had a conversation with the coaches and they told him they decided to offer me.

"My brother came back to me and it was surprising. I plan to talk to their coaches sometime soon."
How big is the offer from the Trojans?
"I'm going to look into it a lot," he said. "Sooner or later I'm going to see it for myself. I know they have good history and are known for big-time players.
"I'm actually going to ask my brother a lot cause he's going on an official there this weekend."
Kouandjio claims approximately two dozen scholarships at this time, but maintains no favorites.
