2011 lineman pulls second offer
A second offer has come for Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio from the 2011 class. The 6-foot-7, 322-pounder is very familiar with the latest school to offer.
"Maryland just offered me a verbal today," Kouandjio said. "They are like five minutes away from my house. I like that there are players I know up at Maryland, Pete DeSouza and Kenny Tate.

"I actually visit there twice a month."
In fact, Kouandjio visited Maryland last weekend for their spring game.
"First of all, it was hot, but I had a good time. They took care of me and I hung out with Pete and my brother Arie. I did talk to a couple of the coaches including Coach Friedgen. It was cool talking to him more."
The Maryland offer puts Kouandjio at two scholarships, his first coming three weeks ago from Pittsburgh.
Kouandjio is considering camps at Pittsburgh and Maryland sometime this summer.
