2011 ATH Gause takes an unofficial

Rochester (N.Y.) Bishop Kearney athlete Quentin Gause took an unofficial last week to one of his leaders. The 2011 prospect gave his take on the visit and the latest with his recruitment.
"My recruiting is picking up," he said. "I have received letters from more schools and I took an unofficial visit to Miami a week and a half ago."

How was the visit?
"I had lots of fun," he said. "I got to see their last home game.
"They haven't offered yet. They said they are still focused on the 2010 class and then will focus on the 2011 class.
"I did talk to Coach Shannon and the linebackers coach and line coach. That was good,"
Gause broke down what stood out from the trip.
"I loved it a lot," he said. "The campus size is great. It's a private school and the school of communications impacted me a lot with the way they work with their students."
Gause hopes to take more visits sometime in the not too distant future to Oregon, Syracuse, Rutgers and others.
Currently, the junior prospect claims the Hurricanes stand out.
"Miami is at the top of my list right now," he said. "I had a great experience down there on the campus and I got to visit with my family too since they live down there."
Gause finished up an impressive junior season not long ago where he posted 800-yards rushing, 200-yards receiving and 114-tackles.
