2010 safety favors BC

Safety Jeremiah Attaochu is only a rising junior but he already has a good idea of what he will be looking for in a college. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound prospect from Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll values education and he has one school at the top of his list.
"I'm going to be attending a Boston College camp, I think on Thursday," Attaochu said. "I'm not really sure if I'm going anywhere else. I haven't been talking to anyone recently.

"I have got mail from some schools. Stanford, Boston College, Maryland, Princeton, Gettysburg College ... that's basically it."
While he has plenty of interest for someone who just finished his sophomore year, he's already prepared to name a favorite.
"I'm thinking Boston College," he said. "I like the environment and I like the education. I really like the system up there too. It will be my first visit up there (Thursday)."
Attaochu said that while he played linebacker for the varsity team last year he expects to line up at safety in the fall. He also believes most schools will be recruiting him as a safety.
As a sophomore at Archbishop Carroll he recorded 50 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions en route to second team all-conference honors.
