2010 Pennsylvania TE has interest

York (Pa.) Central York tight end Kyle Baublitz has already received mail from schools both near and far. As his season progresses he should pick up even more interest, and he could receive some early offers before too long.
The 6-foot-4, 256-pound prospect lines up at tight end and inside linebacker for Central York. While some may look at his size and project him as an offensive lineman, Baublitz said he believes he will be recruited as a tight end.

He has had the opportunity to visit several schools thus far.
"I went to the Temple one-day camp and I think that was in June," Baublitz said. "It went alright. I got to know the campus and more of the city. I got to know what that was like and meet the coaches. They were nice.
"I've been getting some questionnaires but no offers yet. I've heard from Oregon, Oregon State, Virginia, Clemson, Boston College, Penn State and Pitt.
"I went on a vacation down south and visited some campuses, like Virginia and Clemson."
Baublitz is already taking a hard look at three of the schools that should be recruiting him.
"Virginia, Clemson and Boston College are going to be in my top five," he explained.
"I like Virginia because they have really good academics. Clemson's location is very nice and that would be a good atmosphere to play in. Boston College is just a couple of minutes away from Boston. You could go to a Celtics game or watch the Red Sox play. There would always be something to do."
Baublitz has run the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds.
As a sophomore at Central York he averaged 15 yards per reception and recorded 123 tackles on defense. He also blocked two field goals.
