2010 Pennsylvania QB evaluating options

Class of 2010 quarterback Paul Jones is an an enviable position. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound pocket passer has already received several offers and is content to sit back and see what other scholarships come rolling in.
McKees Rocks (Pa.) Sto Rox is 8-1 on the season and preparing to enter the state playoffs, due in large part to Jones' efforts behind center. He isn't sure of his stats on the season but has remained in control and made plays necessary to win games throughout his junior season.

He has been speaking infrequently with several schools, all of whom have offered.
"I've been talking to Penn State, Pitt, Illinois, Iowa, Stanford, North Carolina State and Duke," Jones said.
"I don't have any favorites yet but all of them have already offered. I think Stanford was the last school to offer me."
Jones has attended four college games this year, so by the time his senior season comes he will already have a good idea of what to expect when the recruiting process heats up.
"I've been to Penn State twice, for their games against Illinois and Michigan," he recalled. "I went to the Michigan-Utah game and last week I went to Pitt's game against Rutgers."
Jones said the schools closer to his home would not have an advantage over the others.
