2010 Massachusetts DB has interest

Marlborough, Massachusetts safety Anthony Carter emerged as one of the Northeast's top defensive backs after a summer of camps and combines.
The 5-foot-9, 172-pound junior safety from Marlborough is eager to get his junior campaign underway and his first game is on Friday.

He's already hearing from several schools from across the country.
"I've been emailing a lot of coaches," Carter explained. "I've got some things in the mail and I've been invited to some summer camps and some games.
"For next summer I've been invited to camp at Missouri, Harvard, Colorado and Columbia. This year I've been invited to games at Fordham, Maryland, Bowling Green, Pennsylvania and North Carolina Central. I got a call from the head coach at Grambling State, too."
While it's too early for Carter to even start thinking about a decision, one school in particular has piqued his interest.
"Bowling Green seems like it's a real good school," he said. "I like their campus and everything. Their coach sent me an email and it seems like a really good school for academics.
"I don't know what I'm going to want to major in just yet, but it will probably be something to do with business."
