2010 LB visits Florida State

Jake Holland is a 2010 linebacker prospect from Pelham (Ala.) High School. Holland, 6-1 and 215 pounds, took an unofficial visit this past weekend to Tallahassee to watch Florida State/Wake Forest.
"It was really good time and a good visit," Holland said. "I went down on Saturday morning. They took us around campus and showed us the weight room. I love their facilities.

"Then we went to the game. Before hand we went on field. I met coach (Bobby) Bowden, coach (James) Coley. They want me to send a highlight tape thru game five.
"I love their (FSU) defense. They played well and held Wake to field goals. I felt they played well.
"The stadium was really cool and the fans were nice and energetic. It was a good game to watch."
Florida State wasn't the only team Holland was scouting. He'a also interested in the Demon Deacons.
"I really like them as well. Their offense is good and that defense played pretty well on Saturday. I really like how their linebackers play because they play with technique. Wake's linebackers get down hill quickly.
"FSU, Wake Forest, and Clemson are my main three right now. I also like Duke and Vandy. I really don't know what's going happen with Alabama and Auburn. But II know it's early."
Holland camped at Clemson this summer and went to the spring games at Alabama and Auburn. He is playing to go to the Clemson/Georgia Tech game on October 18th.
Pelham is now 2-2 on the season after losing 37-7 lost to Vestavia High School this past weekend. Holland has 60 tackles on the season. They play Homewood this Friday.
