"My father and I drove around and got to see what it's like in Pittsburgh. It reminded me a bit of downtown Baltimore."
The visit was for the game, what did Alaeze think of that?
"They lost and they doesn't bother me," he said. "They could have won that game.
"The linebackers were really good. I feel like their linebacker coach develops them and could make me good too.
"I really like the atmosphere up there, fans and the coaching staff."
Who did Alaeze talk to?
"Mostly I was with Coach Bossard," he said. "That was good. He wanted to see me face-to-face.
"I also met with Coach Wannstedt for about five minutes. Overall I liked it up there, it's a good area and not far from home, only about a three hour drive."
Alaeze plans to take another unofficial in the near future.
"I'll probably be going down to North Carolina in a week or two. I've been invited to their games and then I'll take visits after the season is over."
Through eight games this season, Alaeze leads the county with approximately 89 tackles.
