2010 Ala DE with offers already

One of the top prospects from the state of Alabama for the Class of 2010 will be Craig Sanders from Airton (Ala.) High School. Sanders, 6-4 and 235 pounds, plays defensive end, running back and quarterback.
"I love to rush the quarterback," Sanders said. I have size, speed and they say I have a good motor. I can also stop the run. I start both ways. As a running back I am a down hill guy that doesn't dance that much but I can cut."

Sanders will be among the top rated defensive ends next season. He already has a slew of scholarship offers from teams like Alabama (first offer), Auburn, LSU, Vanderbilt, Clemson (most recent), Stanford, Florida State, and Florida.
"I never would have thought that this would happen to me, at least this early. And I have to say that I am really enjoying the recruiting process. The best part is the people you meet. So far for me it had to be meeting (Florida quarterback) Tim Tebow. I really look up to him.
"Right now I am open and have no favorites. Growing up in Alabama I really didn't watch much football. Now I just watch all the games.
"The biggest things for me will be the coaching staffs and the traditions of the schools."
So far this season Sanders has been to two games for unofficial visits, Miami/Florida and Ole Miss/Alabama.
