The 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker recorded 125 tackles last season for Butler and his junior year promises to be just as strong.
"South Carolina and Virginia Tech are the only two sticking out," he said. "I went down to a junior day at South Carolina a couple of weekends ago and I had a great time.
"A lot of guys feel homesick when they go visit a college but I felt like I was right at home. It felt like I knew everybody and the coaches that were there made you feel comfortable.
"With Virginia Tech, I've just got a couple of teammates that went up there and I want to find out more about them. I want to wait and see what they've got to offer."
Bell also has offers from Wake Forest, East Carolina, Illinois, Maryland, Miami and North Carolina.
