What does Askew think of the Wolfpack offer?
"I like it," he said. "They've had a lot of good teams and sent a lot of people to the NFL from there. They are also pretty close to where I live, but I'm learning more about them."
The talented junior claims he hasn't taken any visits yet, but did mention a handful of schools that he is interested in.
"I like NC State and North Carolina. I also grew up liking Miami and then I like Tennessee too," he said. "Those are the teams I grew up watching."
In general, what is Askew looking for in a school?
"Pretty much I'm looking for a nice coaching staff, great players that provide a nice family to me and a good team I know I can work with," he stated. "As far as education goes, I'm looking at going into business. I'm willing to go anywhere for location."
Askew has been a force on the Oscar Smith defense racking up over a half dozen sacks on the year.
"It's going pretty good," he said. "I think this year is our best year yet. We dominate on the field on both sides of the ball. I'm doing well too. I'm getting a lot more sacks than last season."
