2009 ATH has plenty of interest

Athlete D.J. Scott may not have a huge build but he has plenty of athleticism. Several schools have already been hot on his trail, and the Class of 2009 prospect should only see that interest increase as time goes on.
The 5-foot-9, 161-pound athlete from Frederick (Mary.) Thomas Jefferson is being recruited as a cornerback and return specialist, though he has experience at several other positions.

Who is recruiting him the hardest?
"Syracuse just left last Thursday and Illinois has been on him pretty hard for a while," said Scott's father. "Syracuse is actually going to be coming back.
"Wake Forest has invited him down for a Junior Day, and Boston College has also invited him up for a Junior Day.
"Other than that, West Virginia is coming down at the end of the month and they've shown some interest in him. Florida invited him down to their Friday Night Lights again. He was there last year and they'd like him to go down as a rising senior."
The coach at William & Mary said the school does not offer scholarships this early but it appears as though Scott will have an offer from them before too long.
Scott also plans on participating in the National 7-on-7 Passing Tournament, held in Canton, OH, in late March.
