2008 OL Chevalier gets first offer

Houston (Texas) Yates quarterback and Baylor-commit Stacy Williams has a body guard as big as a rap star security "consultant." Who better to have your back than a high school teammate?
Junior offensive tackle Leroy Chevalier provides Williams plenty of running lanes and protection from ensuing opponents on the football field. He could be part of Williams' entourage in college, as Baylor put an official offer on paper for the 2008 prospect.

"Baylor is his first offer," Yates coach Clarence McKinney said. "He and Damian Square will get several offers this year. Both have great size and are having great seasons so far.
"Leroy may get more because he's just so big."
At 6-feet-6, 285 pounds, Chevalier combines size, balance and explosiveness rarely seen on a high school player his size.
He was also originally thought to just be a 2007 prospect, but has officially been named eligible to graduate and be recruited as a member of the 2008 class.
