2008 OL already holds three offers

Things certainly haven't started slow for 2008 Paris, Texas offensive tackle Stephen Good. In fact, just weeks after the first day that juniors could receive written offers, he's already added a trio of ones from schools all around the country.
Good, who is at nearly 6-foot-6, 290-pounds, has grabbed his first offers from both the Big 12 and SEC. The talented tackle though says that he's got a long ways to go before naming big leading favorites and making any sort of a commitment.

"Well, Oklahoma has offered, and then I got ones from Nebraska and Ole Miss," Good said. "Those are the first three right now. Oklahoma was one that I really wanted. I kind of expected it, but you're never really sure.
"I didn't really expect Nebraska and Ole Miss either."
The Sooners are also currently in his early top two along with Texas.
"Yeah, it's those two at the top, that's about right," Good said. "They're close to home and those are just two really good schools. Being close to home is important to me."
Notre Dame, UCLA, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma State are just a few of the other schools sending mail to the talented Lone Star junior. He's not planning on rushing anything with his recruiting process just yet considering he's just two games into his junior year.
"I want to wait because I've got to worry about my high school career right now," Good said. "I don't want anything distracting me from my team."
Good has been starting on varsity at Paris since he was a freshman.
