2008 OG starts to receive looks

2008 offensive guard Quinton Sales is starting to receive interest from colleges. Who is the 6-foot-3, 280-pounder out of Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly receiving interest from and what does he want out of a college?
"Recruiting is going well," he said. "I'm getting letters from Temple, Georgia, Maryland and a few others so far," he said. "Hopefully I'll be able to get some offers after the football season.

"I'm just looking for a school that will provide me a good education and somewhere I could possibly play early. Distance doesn't really matter because I can learn to adjust wherever I go."
Growing up Sales watched a few schools.
"I grew up watching Maryland since it's local, but I also liked Georgia and Penn State a lot," he said. "I liked Georgia because of the offensive line tradition there and it's a great school in the SEC. Penn State is great because of the tradition there. Joe Paterno is a tremendous coach and they have a bunch of guys from the area including someone I know, Phillip Taylor."
What makes the guard prospect stand out on the field?
"I think I'm a smart, aggressive and quick lineman. I play smash mouth football," he said. "I think I still need to work on my speed in order to pick up speed rushers that are a lot faster than me. I need to improve on my footwork. That can always get better."
Sales played both ways last season and finished the year with 30 tackles and five sacks.
