Charlotte (N.C.) Independence 2008 cornerback Javon Rembert helped lead the Patriots to a perfect 16-0 season and state championship. Off the field, the 5-foot-8, 166-pounder is already starting to receive interest from a handful of schools.
"I've been getting letters from Boston College, Colorado, North Carolina State and North Carolina," he said. "Currently my favorite schools are Miami and Florida. I really like how they play and they always have great athletes that come in for them."
This season the junior cornerback took one unofficial to Chapel Hill.
"I went up there when they played Virginia Tech," he said. "It was a good game, I had fun up there."
Meanwhile, the Charlotte prospect has a few things he's looking for out of his future destination.
"I'm looking for anybody that is willing to give me a scholarship," he said. "I want to join a good program and a great academic school. Location for me doesn't matter at all."
