2007 WR picks up Vols offer
Washington (D.C.) Dunbar wide receiver Arrelious Benn is a Rivals100 2007 prospect with a handful of written offers already. Who does the 6-foot-1, 208-pounder with 4.45-second speed hold offers from so far?
"I've got offers from Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, Michigan State and I just picked up one from Tennessee today. There are others, but I can't remember all of them right now," he said. "I'm excited about the Tennessee offer, but I don't know much about them except for what I see on TV. From what I see they're a winning team and a well run program. I also like that they throw the ball pretty well and their style of offense is nice too."

Currently, Benn doesn't hold a favorite and just is waiting to see what offers come in.
Despite that, the receiver prospect grew up a fan of Maryland.
"I'm a fan of the Terps and they have an alright program and a young team right now," he said. "I went to the Clemson-Maryland game a couple weeks back and I'm sure I'll head up there for more this season. I think Maryland should have put them down, but Clemson kept playing. Maryland has a nice program and I like it a lot. I talked to coach Friedgen on my visit up there and I liked that he not only was talking about football, but also getting an education and life after football."
Benn has helped Dunbar to a 2-1 start as they defeated Ballou 44-12 last week.
"In the game I had four receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown. I was happy with how I performed, but I know I could do better. I even had a slight twisted ankle, but it's a lot better now. I'm back to 100 percent."
