2007 Virginia DT hearing from many

Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor 2007 defensive tackle Leman Williams has started to receive some interest from colleges across the country. Who has been in contact with the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder?
"He's getting letters from schools including Boston College, Notre Dame, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Nebraska," said Lake Taylor assistant coach Steve Versprille. "So far he's expressed an interest in Boston College, Penn State and Indiana."

What makes Williams stand out as a player?
"He's very athletic, quick and intense," he said. "He runs to the ball very well and has the ability to dominate a game. He's very hard for people to block because of his size and athleticism."
As a junior, Williams registered six sacks.
"He had a very good year with numerous hurries," he said. "He started as a sophomore for us and has gotten much better in the weight room. I saw a huge improvement in his speed and quickness this year."
