2007 QB prepares for Michigan unofficial

2007 quarterback Peter Lalich out of Springfield (Va.) West Springfield is headed to Ann Arbor this weekend to take in the Notre Dame-Michigan game.
"I can't wait to go to the Big House because it's going to be a big game," he said. "On my visit, I'm going to be looking to look at the offense and break it down to see what they're trying to do. I also want to see the prestige of the football program through a tour and just see what's going on there. The atmosphere is kind of scary with 112,000 people, it'll be fun though and I know I'd just be fired up sitting in a van and watching it on TV."

Last weekend the future Rivals100 prospect took notice of a few college games.
"I didn't think Georgia was going to beat their opponent that bad, I liked Notre Dame's offense and I just like USC," he said. "I saw the Oklahoma game and I was kind of rooting for TCU. I still can't believe that and it was kind of a low-scoring game. The big games though were Miami-Florida State and North Carolina State-Virginia Tech. I noticed those guys get off the ball on defense really quick and it made me think I have to step up on my footwork."
Rumors have swirled recently that Lalich received an offer from Georgia.
"No I haven't gotten an offer, they just sent me a bunch of information," he said. "They sent me stuff about what they've done in the past few years and all that. I like their coaching staff though because they have a great personality. I like coach Bobo and the strength and conditioning coach a lot. You can tell they love what they're doing and are really involved with the players."
Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, California, Nebraska and Penn State have shown the most interest recently.
Later this fall Lalich anticipates taking in two more unofficial visits to Virginia.
"I plan to go to the Florida State and Virginia Tech games," he said. "I'll probably always have UVA at the top of my list because they offered me and they were the first team to show me interest. They also treated me the best and signed Al Groh to a long-term deal. Finally, he runs a pro-style offense and I want to go pro and I think I can learn a lot from him."
Lalich kicks off his junior season this weekend.
"We've had two scrimmages so far and combined I've thrown for 670 yards and six touchdowns," he said. "I did really well especially in the second one when I was efficient with a 75% completion rate. We have a great system and guys are always open. I think we've got the best athletes and I'll put up numbers and win some games. I don't have goals this year, I just want to win."
Last season Lalich accounted for 950 yards of offense and 13 touchdowns.
