2007 QB considers unofficial visits

2007 Rivals100 quarterback Tyrod Taylor out of Hampton, Va. kicked off his junior season last week against Indian River with a 21-7 victory. How did the 6-foot-1, 193-pounder with 4.55-second speed play?
"He threw for 230 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions and ran for a third touchdown," said Tyrod's father, Rodney Taylor. "The ankle injury he suffered against Landstown is still very sore, but he's alright. He's doing better every week."

The quarterback prospect continues to hold two written offers from North Carolina and Virginia Tech, but a handful of top notch programs have shown interest.
"Florida State has come in, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio State have all sent a lot of stuff and shown a lot of interest," he said. "I know a few of the coaches mentioned they'll be stopping by to see him in person later this season maybe against Phoebus."
This season Taylor is considering heading to a few games for unofficial visits.
