2007 OL Nuss takes one unofficial

Ashburn (Va.) Stone Bridge 2007 offensive tackle Andrew Nuss has received a handful of interest early on in the recruiting process. Who has the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder been receiving interest from and what is he looking for out of a school?
"I've gotten letters from Maryland, Virginia, Boston College and Notre Dame," he said. "Those are the few right now that have regular contact with me and I have an interest in all of them. I like that they are all good programs and their academics interest me as well. I'm still not sure what I'll major in at college, but that'll depend on which school I go to."

Two other programs the linemen hopes to hear from are Virginia Tech and Michigan. As for what he's looking for out of a school, he went on to explain.
"I'm just looking for the benefits out of each school, the majors offered and what kind of things they'll offer me after football."
This season Nuss went to the Clemson-Maryland game.
"It was pretty good and I think Maryland has a good thing going on there," he said. "They're a good team and I saw the offensive and defensive line go in all fired up. I thought that was really cool."
Nuss plans to take another unofficial to the Virginia Tech-Virginia game in November.
Stone Bridge is off to a 3-1 start with the help of the junior lineman.
"This season is going pretty well, it's my second year starting and I'm playing a lot better than last year," he said. "I'm getting used to the position more and getting more physical and I'm just heavier. I can also tell I've really improved on my drive blocking a lot since last year."
