2007 OG has a handful of DI interest

2007 offensive guard Kenneth Emilio out of Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside has interest from the Big Ten, Big East and ACC. Who has the 6-foot-2, 275-pounder received letters from so far?
"I've gotten letters from Georgia Tech, Duke, Boston College, Virginia, West Virginia, Clemson and Indiana," he said. "Of them, I'd say I'm looking at Georgia Tech the most. I like them because they have a good engineering program and a good athletic program too."

Growing up the guard prospect was always a fan of the Buckeyes.
"I'd really like to go to Ohio State, that would definitely be my first pick if they showed interest," he said. "I've always liked Jim Tressell and I know they always have a big offensive line and a good team overall every year. I went to football camp there this summer and it was a wonderful learning experience. It was great to see the practice fields and equipment and I talked to the coaches and they said I look like a decent ball player."
Emilio is looking at taking an unofficial visit to Duke on October 15th for the Georgia Tech game.
"Right now I'm taking interest in everyone that notices me," he said. "I want to go there and meet the coaches and see how they run the program and check out the campus. I'm looking at both of those teams and I want to see how they handle themselves in the game as well."
This season Bayside is off to a 1-3 start.
"I think I've done pretty well so far, but I know there is always room for improvement," he said. "I've recorded 5 pancakes and 6 tackles on the season. Last year I played center and now I'm playing tackle and it's a totally different position. I can tell I'm a lot stronger and better at pass blocking and zone blocking."
