2007 MD RB is dynamic

Junior running back Jamere Knox is a versatile athlete for Salisbury (Md.) Wicomico. Wicomico head coach David Nettles believes the 6-foot-0, 178-pounder with 4.4-second speed is the best running back in the state.
"I believe he's 100% the best running back," he said. "He is very exciting to watch and any time he touches the ball, get ready. He has some of the most amazing, jawdropping runs you'll ever see in your life and he's just a natural athlete. He also thrives on competition and gets better as the players around him do.

"He excels in just about every sport he does. We put him in indoor track to work on his running form and he's destroyed the competition in various events like the high jump, triple jump, 300 meter and others. When it comes to athleticism he is unreal and I would say he is the Reggie Bush in this area."
One school stands out to the 2007 running back.
"I know Jamere is really in love with Maryland," he said. "He hasn't seen many other places yet though."
Knox compiled over 1,150 yards and 17 touchdowns on offense. He added over 600 yards and six touchdowns in returns as he was named first team all-conference return man and second team all-conference running back.
