2007 LB is a man among boys

Glenville (W.V.) Gilmer County is home to a star junior linebacker Dustin Fox. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder is a statistical machine racking up over 2,750 yards of offense and 31 touchdowns along with 135 tackles, 77 solo tackles, eight sacks and two interceptions as a sophomore.
"Dustin has got a very good motor and the first thing that comes to mind is that he's hard nosed and a leader," said Gilmer head coach Steve Shuff. "He's been a leader for us since the day he walked in as a freshman and that is something that just can't be taught.

"Last season he missed nine games due to a broken hand, but in just two games he recorded 46 tackles and one fumble recovery. The kid is a prototype middle linebacker that has a nose for the ball and can move sideline to sideline. All he has to do is increase his 40-time. The other thing about him is he's a good young man and I hope my son grows up to be like him because he's a good person off the field, but turns into an animal on it."
So far Fox has received interest from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Marshall and Maryland. Does he have any early favorites?
"Obviously West Virginia is because it's only an hour away from home," he said. "I'd also say Pittsburgh may be too since they've been the most active team recruiting him."
