2007 DE picks up first two offers

Rivals100 2007 defensive end Justin Trattou out of Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep has picked up two offers so far in the last couple weeks. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder with 4.8-second speed talked to Rivals.com about the two schools he got offers from and how his season is going.
"I picked up the written offers from Boston College and Louisville," he said. "I think they are both great schools. I like the school in general for Boston College and my teammate Brian Toal goes there and is doing well, so that's good. As for Louisville, I know last year my teammate Darius Mann went there and I like that aspect of it too."

Besides the offers, Trattou receives plenty of letters from schools including Virginia, Notre Dame, North Carolina State, Rutgers and Iowa among others.
Does the defensive end prospect have any favorites?
"Not really, I didn't grow up a fan of any one school and this year I'm just focusing on our team."
Trattou has helped Don Bosco to a 2-0 start as they've beaten St. Anthony's and Bergen.
"I've had a couple sacks this season and I'm also playing left tackle," he said. "This season is going good. We haven't given up any sacks so far. I'm pretty happy with how it's going and I keep getting better. I can tell I'm definitely a more experienced player than last year."
Last season Trattou recorded 65 tackles, one interception and eight sacks.
